Floyd is launching a mattress for its beloved minimalist bed frame
Customers kept asking the Detroit startup which mattress to buy for its ultra-popular bed frame, so it designed one.
You’ve likely seen pictures of it, covered in rumpled sheets dappled with sunshine from a nearby window, while skimming through interior design posts on Instagram.

Companies Cut Back, but Consumers Party On, Driving the Economy
Things feel chillier in the executive suite than they do at the mall, and the future of a record expansion hangs in the balance.

The Secret of Walt Disney’s Creativity
When Walt was deep in thought he would lower one brow, squint his eyes, let his jaw drop, and stare fixedly at some point in space, often holding the attitude for several moments … No words could break the spell …
[Our success] was built by hard work and enthusiasm, integrity of purpose, a devotion to our medium, confidence in its future, and, above all, by a steady day-by-day growth in which we all simply studied our trade and learned.
Penske buying IndyCar is like LeBron buying the NBA
Once enemies, Penske and Tony George pulled off a deal that shocked the sport but provides a bright future.
As the American motorsports world boarded various aircraft to return home from Fort Worth, Austin and Las Vegas and the huge late-season NASCAR, Formula One and NHRA events held in those cities, every row on every plane emitted gasps as their social media timelines filled with the news.
